Our Programs

We strive to protect our youth by working to reduce substance misuse through prevention, collaboration and pursuing resources.

You’ll find us out in the community educating youth on the risks and harms of substance misuse, encouraging quit resources especially for teens, and spreading awareness about important laws in Kansas that protect against underage use.

Welcoming Independence High School Sponsor

Bailey serves as the high school nurse and does a fantastic job engaging students through hands-on activities and educational opportunities focused on vaping prevention and drug awareness. Her passion for youth education and prevention helps empower students to make healthy, informed decisions. We are excited to have Bailey’s support and dedication as she continues making a positive impact within our school community!

Bailey Cole, our IHS sponsor took the initiative to research solutions for sharing youth prevention resources and thanks to her efforts, new shelving is now available at the IHS clinic!

Red Ribbon Week

We celebrated this Red Ribbon week (October 23rd-31st, 2024) by joining together with our local schools to work with the youth on special projects and activities that promote and spread awareness about the importance of living a drug-free life.
